The latest title from Kyle Thompson, developer of popular graveyard keeping, the Crypt Custodian and Islets, has arrived in the form of Well Dweller, a gorgeous looking Metroidvania.
Starring Glimmer, your feathered friend, armed with a matchstick, you’ll need to explore a massive world to find the seven golden feathers to rescue your flock and defeat the evil Queen.
It releases on 22 September 2026 for PC, PS5, Switch 2, and Xbox Series consoles. It’s also available day one on Xbox Game Pass. Why not check out our review?
Well Dweller: Find the Gate Stones in The Docks
You’ll arrive at The Docks area as you progress through the game. It is the brown zone on the map screen. You’ll have to locate three white stones to progress. The gate is part of your main objective in the area.
Once you have claimed all three gate stones, the game will indicate the location of the gate on the map, so you know where to head.

Head to the right from the tent and aim upwards.

If you’re heading from the first gate stone (above), drop back down and head all the way right that you can to find the stone.
Gate Stone: 3 / 3
The final one requires you to go down from the second one, to towards the bottom of the area, head right and then start to ascend. The stone is at the very top of the area (check the map).
Once you have collected all three stones, the game will show you where the gate has opened on the map, giving you an objective marker to follow.
