The latest title from Kyle Thompson, developer of popular graveyard keeping, the Crypt Custodian and Islets, has arrived in the form of Well Dweller, a gorgeous looking Metroidvania.
Starring Glimmer, your feathered friend, armed with a matchstick, you’ll need to explore a massive world to find the seven golden feathers to rescue your flock and defeat the evil Queen.
It releases on 22 September 2026 for PC, PS5, Switch 2, and Xbox Series consoles. It’s also available day one on Xbox Game Pass. Why not check out our review?
Well Dweller: Feather Locations to Extend Your Flight Time in The Lookout Tower Guide
In The Lookout Tower area of the game (the teal coloured section on the map), you’ll come across feathers in bubbles that, when jumped on, give you the temporary ability to fly. The only lasts for a short amount of time, but it can be extended by finding one of three feathers across the level.

Flying Ability
You get the ability to temporarily fly in the The Lookout Tower. This occurs when you jump onto a bubble that has a feather in it. Glimmer can fly for a short period, indicated by the little feather that appears above their head. There three feather pick ups in The Lookout Tower area that can extend that flight time.
You can use the tent in the centre of The Lookout Tower as a good reference point.
Please note that the order below isn’t necessarily the best order to find them, just the order I found them in.

The first feather is located above the tent and to the left in The Lookout Tower.
Feather: 2 / 3
The second feather is to the far left, and up, in The Lookout Tower
Feather: 3 / 3
The final feather is to the upper right area of The Lookout Tower.
