In this guide, we will show how to easily find all 16 Vessel Shard upgrades in Silver Pines. These are optional items to locate, but we strongly advise finding them as they’ll allow you to equip up to four more of the game’s Mementos, which award perks to Red Walker. You need four Vessel Shards to unlock one extra Memento slot. We’ll show you how to easily find all Vessel Shards, in an order that is easy to follow as you play the game.

Find All Vessel Shards in Silver Pines

Here are all the Vessel Shard locations, largely in the order in which you’ll find them in the game.

Vessel Shard 1

When you get off the ferry for the first time. Head right to this location and shoot the bird down. They’ll drop your first Memento Vessel Shard:

Shortly after, you’ll reach this padlocked garage. Blow the lock off to find another bird to shoot, with your next shard inside:

Right next to the cable car bells is a balcony with another bird hanging. Again, shoot them for the Vessel:

When you’re in the Sheriff’s Station, you’ll come to Storage Room A. On the right, look for a vent and shoot the grate off, before climbing through. Inside is your next Memento Vessel, you can hit this one with a melee weapon to conserve ammo:

In the top right of the Riverside section is a tunnel, in which you need to head in to speak to the Officer on a truck radio. In this tunnel, look up above the enemy to find your next Memento Vessel Shard:

When you get to the Union building, before heading inside go into the small building to the left. Take out the enemy then get your next Vessel by hitting another bird:

Inside the Union building, get to floor 2 and enter room 2C. Look up to the right to see a vent, shoot it and head inside for the next Vessel, once again inside a bird statue:

In the Union building, head to the stairwell and between floors 2 and 3. Smash the window through and climb out. Climb up the ladder for your next Vessel:

After finishing the Sheriff Station section, you’ll come south towards the Sewers. Jump onto this boat to get your next Vessel:

In the Town Hall, you’ll quickly find the first safe room. Inside, crawl through the fireplace to find your next Vessel:

When you reach Church Hill, head northeast and past the Funeral Home. Jump the fence to the right of it, then climb down to find your next Vessel:

For your next Vessel, you’ll want to head to the location where you gained your stamina boosting Memento, after killing a previous boss. It’s easily found on the river bank here:

After getting access to the ferry – see our guide in the footer on how to do that – and going back to the original island, go past the motel to this location which you can now reach:

There are a few steps to this one. Come to the south of Downtown, near the Sewers to see this hanging bird here, beyond a fence you can’t get through. Shoot it down:

Now, you’ll need to move across the river to this location, then swim back over to grab your next Vessel Shard:

After collecting the shovel – see our guide for how to obtain that – return to the Chapel Grounds. You’ll need to dig this hole here, which will give you the Confession Room key:

Now, head back inside the Chapel and open the confession booth door you previously couldn’t access:

Not long after you get atop Mt Siah Kopa, you’ll pass through a door you need to find two amps for, then you can move north. Come to this location and smash the wall on the left:

Passing through, immediately after you’ll find your next Vessel Shard in a bird hanging above you:

And with that, you’ll have all your Vessel Shards and be able to equip four more Mementos in this exceptional, eerie, Twin Peaks-like town.
