How to Get the Lift Level 4 Button in the Silver Pines Union Building

When you reach the Union Building you’ll be tasked with exploring the multi-levelled environment to find items, clues and take out many enemies. It’s one of the games more challenging environments with lots to see and find.

The core task of the Union Building is to reach the top floor, by accessing a lift button for level 4. The button is locked in the Supervisors Room:

The room is accessed via a side room which has a padlock with room numbers on.

The solution is via notes and you need to marry up the details to solve it:

1) Outside the Supervisors Room are a number of newspaper cutouts;
2) Throughout the Union Building are a range of notes from specific rooms, you need to review them to match them to the person in the newspaper cutouts.

The code for the padlock is based left, to right from the newspaper clipping orders.Therefore, the solution is:

1C (from gallery pamphlet)
3A (from the cat card)
2A (from Typewriter page)
3C (from water damaged diary)

You can now head inside the Supervisors Room to get the lift level 4 button:
