Silver Pines Open the Palm Tree Door Guide

In this guide, we will show how to easily unlock the palm tree door at the Silver Pines Motel. Early in the game you’ll see a vision of the palm tree door, it’s part of the essential progression but you can’t open it without some work. We’ll show you how to easily open this painted palm tree door.

Open the Palm Tree Door in the Silver Pines Motel

When you come to the Grizzly Suite at the Motel, you’ll find Eddie’s guitar case in a room. Interact with it, then the locked door to the right. After you move away, an enemy will break through and you’ll need to kill them. Grab the pool net just beyond them, then to the right is a note which tells you how to call individual room numbers. The code is 5888 + the room number.

Ignore that for now. You want to head into the pool and use the net on a grate to the right to pull out an object:

Once you’ve got it, open your inventory and combine it with the cleaning solution you’ll also find at the Motel:

This now creates a clean doorknob that you can use on the palm tree door in the Gift Shop basement:
