Defeat the Brumak in Act 1, Chapter 4 Guide
You’ll take on an unarmoured Brumak at the end of Chapter 4 – Back in the Fold. You’re trying to get into the Courthouse when it shows itself.
You’ll need to defeat it before you can progress. Thankfully there’s plenty of weaponry and ammo around. The main thing is to keep moving.
The Brumak has two long chains around its wrists which it slings about and will basically insta-kill or insta-down you (depending on what difficulty you’re playing on). If it gets too close to you, or you get boxed in (I did this on my attempt, didn’t move from the steps of the Courthouse and got stuck), it will step on you!
You can use your normal weaponry against it, obviously longer range is better so picking your Lancer or Hammerburst is the way to go. There is a Gut Buster (remote detonating grenade launcher) that does good damage (especially with active reload) and there’s some extra ammo for it lying around too.
If the Brumak gets close, run away from it to the other end of the arena just so you’ve got good distance to chip away at its health. It will get distracted by your team mates too.
As its health goes down, it will call out for juvie enemies and they will appear around the map from emergence holes. Just listen out for them and be sure to keep an eye out.
