Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss is a first-person investigative thriller, weaving a complex narrative between a horrific atmosphere and elaborate investigation mechanics. The action takes place in 2053: all over the world, the occult threat is becoming less and less discreet, and many strange events beyond human comprehension are being recorded.
At the same time, a race for resources is exhausting the Earth, and powerful corporations are turning to the unexplored depths of the oceans. The player embodies Noah, an investigator for the Ancile, an organization specializing in occult affairs, whose new mission is to discover what lies behind the mysterious disappearance of miners at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean.

Getting the platinum in Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss is somewhat complicated if you are unable to get the correct corruption paths throughout the story. There are 4 distinct paths where you have two distinct options on what path you take, and these decisions all change the ending you end up with. Given the lack of manual saves (as of the writing of this guide), this means that you should always aim for the low corruption option, even if it is sometimes the more complex version of the story.
