The investigation and deduction-based gameplay of Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss lends itself to some fun and sometimes challenging trophies/achievements. Although while you’re busy tracking down a missing deep-sea mining crew and dodging Deep Ones, it’s not always easy to keep track of them. So, here is our Full Charge trophy/achievement guide for Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss.

Full Charge Trophy Guide
Chapter 3 Blue Lichen Location
Blue Lichen #1: The first Blue Lichen you run into on your journey is located in the submerged underground cavern beneath the breakable flooring near the crucified man, David Curwen. This area is where you discover and repair the Electrum device and unlock the Electrum sonar frequency. Since this area is required for the Low Corruption achievement for this area, you may find yourself here using the power of deduction, but if you have no idea what I’m talking about, please reference our In Deep Waters Trophy Guide.
Anyways, once you fall and do what you need to do to activate the machine, simply equip your Lichen Stimulant frequency on your sonar, and you should notice a Lichen that appears to be larger than the standard ones without the red identifier the others have. Simply take the standard path to get back to the surface, but instead of turning right at the T-junction, take a left. This will lead you to the first Blue Lichen in our playthrough.

Chapter 4 Blue Lichen Location
Blue Lichen #2: The second Blue Lichen is located in a less hidden spot along the path you take to progress in Chapter 4. Once you have visited Mei’s camp that overlooks the lagoon, simply follow the path you would usually take to the left before breaking the chain, and you should see the Blue Lichen on the wall. Use the Lichen Stimulant frequency if you are having trouble.
I haven’t tested it yet, but once you drop down and break the chain to stop the water from flowing, it MIGHT soft-lock you out of this upper area, so it is recommended you grab it as soon as you see it.

Chapter 5 Blue Lichen
Blue Lichen #3: This Blue Lichen is also located in a spot that is hard to miss if you’re progressing through the story as normal. Once you’ve unlocked the sonar frequency that allows you to see the monster’s tentacles, see our Beyond The Senses Trophy Guide for help with that, you will be able to navigate towards the upper levels of the monster’s ‘cage’. This lichen will be located right before the area where you get access to the metal pucks and learn about the magnetized doorways.
Chapter 6 Blue Lichen Location
Blue Lichen #4: Our last Blue Lichen is a bit more complicated to explain. It is highly recommended that you check out our Open Sesame Trophy Guide and Where Am I? Trophy Guide if you have no idea what I’m referencing, as this area can be extremely confusing without any point of familiarity.
Okay, so once you have visited the 2nd of the Yith’s past for the second time, where we found the last Evolution from our Augmented Agent Trophy Guide, you will be able to access another room on the opposite side of the chamber that lets you go back in the past again. In this version, you learn about ‘teleportation’ using the pedestals, and this is how we’re going to get where we need to go for the last Blue Lichen. Grab the Star and head back to the present.
To do this, place the previously engraved face of the star facing you and set the star on the pedestal. Observe it and wait a few seconds; once it shines, pick it up. The teleportation sends you to the Secret Lodge. Once in here, grab all the usual clues and such, then place the star on the second pedestal from the right (to the left of the skeleton) to reach the inaccessible mausoleum. The last Blue Lichen will be in this previously inaccessible room.

Once you have harvested all four Blue Lichens, the Full Charge trophy/achievement will unlock.
