As the seasons begin to change and the nights become longer, it’s hard not to begin to anticipate some of the spooky games gearing up for release this Halloween. 2026 is a special year, as it is the first in over a decade that fans will have a new Castlevania game to dig their fangs into. As the game gears up for release in just under two months, the publisher has revealed Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse’s English voice cast, which will feature some familiar voices to fans of the Netflix animated series.

While the Castlevania video game series itself has been almost entirely absent since 2014’s Lords of Shadows 2 outside of remasters and re-releases, the series’ legacy has endured thanks to Powerhouse Animation’s animated series for Netflix. The show originally debuted in 2017 and ran for four seasons, before receiving a follow-up in the form of Castlevania: Nocturne, which concluded last year.

Konami and developer Evil Empire and Motion Twin seem to be using the show as a launching point for the series’ revival, as the new metroidvania takes place after the events of Castlevania III: Belmont’s Revenge, the main inspiration for the original Netflix series. The game follows Rose Belmont, daughter of Trevor Belmont and Sypha Belnades.

Among the cast for the game are Alejandra Reynoso and Graham McTavish, the show’s actors for Sypha and Dracula respectively. This could imply that there may be an attempt to weave the show’s plotline in with the games’ canon.

Belmont’s Curse’s cast also includes Abby Trott (who was also recently revealed to be starring in Persona 4 Revival) as Rose Belmont, Liam O’Brien returning to voice Isaac for the first time since 2005’s Castlevania: Curse of Darkness, and Arcane voice actor JB Blanc as Trevor Belmont.

Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse will release on October 15 for PC, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X/S.
