Minecraft Dungeons 2 – Spider Slayer Achievement Guide

After surprising many with a great spinoff in Minecraft Dungeons, Mojang and Double Eleven are back with Minecraft Dungeons 2. The game is setup quite a bit different from the original game, though this in many ways makes achievements easier. This guide will help you unlock the “Spider Slayer” achievement.

The Cleric’s Apprentice

The Spider Slayer achievement is unlocked by completing The Cleric’s Apprentice side quest. This quest is found in the Little Howl village within Howling Woods and only becomes available after completing the main quest “Corruption In The Woods”.

Head back to little howl and speak with the villager here to start the quest. The quest is going to send you off to find the cleric’s apprentice who has gone off to find a cure for the sick villagers in a spider cave.

Normally with all Minecraft Dungeons 2 quests its pretty easy to follow the markers along here but I actually found this marker to be a bit annoying, at least in my game. It sent me to one of the spider cave entrances but inside it was actually blocked. I had to go to another nearby spider cave entrance and back track. Keep this in mind if it does the same for you.

Once inside the cave you will meet up with the Apprentice and be attacked by some spiders. Clear them out and the Apprentice will then ask you to collect a satchel. Walk around the area here to grab the satchel and then head back to Little Howl.

Find the apprentice down in the town square, hand him the satchel and complete the quest. You will get some gear and of course your Spider Slayer achievement!
