Minecraft Dungeons 2 – Blowout Achievement Guide

Minecraft Dungeons 2

After surprising many with a great spinoff in Minecraft Dungeons, Mojang and Double Eleven are back with Minecraft Dungeons 2. The game is setup quite a bit different from the original game, though this in many ways makes achievements easier. This guide will help you unlock the “Blowout” achievement.

The Creeper Candle Conspiracy

In order to unlock the Blowout achievement, we must complete the side quest called “The Creeper Candle Conspiracy”. You can first unlock this quest right after completing the first sift early on in the game. The quest giver is just east of the Honeycomb Farm fast travel point.

Find this farmer right near the Honeycomb Farm fast travel and he will give you the quest

With the quest active it is pretty straightforward on how to complete since Minecraft Dungeons 2 holds your hand pretty well with quests. You will need to go find the Candlemaker who will then send you off to his little campsite area to retrieve a key. With the key in hand you will go to the workshop where you will be ambushed and need to fight off a bunch of illagers.

After this you will head back out and find the Creeper Candles that need to be blownout. There are 3 initial ones to find that are pretty simple with only a couple of enemies guarding them. Dispose of them and blow out the candles.

The last area will actually have 4 candles and at first seems easy. However upon blowing out the final candle you will be ambushed by some pretty powerful enemies so be careful. Take care of them, defeating the enchanted ones as quickly as possible, and once you defeat the final enemy you can head back to the Candlemaker to complete the quest.

With the quest completed you will earn some loot as well as the Blowout achievement!
