After surprising many with a great spinoff in Minecraft Dungeons, Mojang and Double Eleven are back with Minecraft Dungeons 2. The game is setup quite a bit different from the original game, though this in many ways makes achievements easier. This guide will help you unlock the “Maxed Out and Geared Up” achievement.
In Minecraft Dungeons 2 the inventory has expanded compared to the original game. The sequel still lets you carry 2 weapons but has now expanded to 4 pieces of armor, a helmet, chest plate, pants and boots. Because of this you are now required to get all 6 pieces of equipment to level 3 enchantments in order to unlock the achievement.
Enchanter & Enchantment Books
In order to begin working on this achievement you are first going to need to get far enough into the game to find the Enchanter. The Enchanter doesn’t join your camp until about halfway through the campaign. Once it does it also introduces Enchantment Books.
Enchantment Books are found in the random rifts and dungeons scattered about the world. You must go inside and complete the area which will open up a chest for you that will often times have enchantment books in them. Having enough enchantment books is going to be your first step to earning this achievement.
You are also going to need to level up the Enchanter to level 3 before you can begin upgrading your enchantments. This is going to cost you 90 total Echo shards to get the Enchanter up to level 3. You get Echo shards from defeating bosses and the diamond coloured enemies.
With the enchantment books and Enchanter now levelled up all you need to do is spend your enchantment points and echo shards on enchanting each of your 6 slots and upgrading them to level 3. This is going to take awhile. In order for me to have all 6 pieces of unique equipment at level 3 you are going to be around level 75. The rarer the item the more enchantment points it takes to upgrade, with unique being the most expensive. If you do all 6 with unique items it will take a few more levels.
All in all it’s not a hard achievement to unlock and you will naturally get it as you work towards your level 100 and Mystic Librarian achievement anyway.
