As well as many Skulls and Terminals to find in Halo: Campaign Evolved, there are several miscellaneous achievements / trophies to unlock. In this guide we will show you how to unlock the Arm’s Length achievement / trophy for completing beating the first floor of mission 6, 343 Guilty Spark without taking a hit. This is a tricky achievement, but there’s a method with a Skull to make it much easier.
Mission 6: 343 Guilty Spark
This achievement / trophy is easily unlocked on mission 2, Halo. You can unlock this on any difficulty but if you’re replaying for achievements / trophies, be sure to have the game set on easy difficulty to make your life much easier. You will need to play the whole mission rather than starting at Rally Point Bravo or later. If you get hit, reloading a checkpoint will not work, you need to restart the mission.
To make this achievement / trophy easy, you need obtain the Bandana Skull which allows infinite ammo and grenades. You’re going to need a lot grenades here! The Bandana Skull can be earned on New Mission 4: The Silent Cartographer. See here for our All Skull Locations Guide which we have already collated for you. With the Bandana Skull equipped, you will be able to spam grenades constantly to make quick work of the Covenant and Flood enemies.
Another thing you must be doing is to keep an eye on your motion sensor (radar) in the top right. You’ll be able to tell if enemies are lurking round corners.
From the start of the mission, run towards the underground facility taking out the Grunts and Jackals on the way with grenades. When you get to the entrance, spam grenades in the entry to take the enemies out:
Once inside, you’ll want to use doorways as enemy chokepoints. If needed, creep towards enemies to bait them towards you. Be careful to stay on the top floor of areas to avoid enemies at every opportunity:
There are two areas to be mindful of. First, is the frenzied Marine. Make sure to kill him in case he hits you. He will also drop a Skull if you don’t already have it:
Secondly, is the room where the Flood burst through doors. Be ready with grenades for the following doors: 1) The door in front of you, 2) the door to the right, 3) the door to the left, 4) the door behind you. When this doors clear, head where you’re supposed to be going and bait enemies down the walkways and grenade them in their path:
From here, stay high and keep spamming grenades and using your Assault Rifle to take far away enemies out as required. Don’t get caught up in killing, just taking out enough to progress. You don’t actually need to make it to the elevator for the achievement / trophy, it’ll pop in the room before just here:
And with that, you’ll unlock your Arm’s Length achievement / trophy, congratulations!
