As well as many Skulls and Terminals to find in Halo: Campaign Evolved, there are several miscellaneous achievements / trophies to unlock. In this guide we will show you how to unlock the Food Critic achievement / trophy for listening to the Thirsty Grunt talk about his eating habits. Beware, very minor spoilers for players new to Halo included.
Mission Ten: The Maw
This achievement / trophy is obtained on the mission The Maw at the very end of the main game, during the section you’re fleeing in a Warthog. During the section, you’ll reach Foehammer in the Pelican ship who is there to evac you, only for her and the ship to be destroyed. After this sequence, you’ll be back to driving to a new evac location.
You’ll pass a few rooms before the Pillar of Autumn starts to burn up and there’ll be fire smothering the corridors. Keep going and keep an eye out for this entry on the right just passed the pillar, there are plenty of exploding Flood just outside:
Once inside, drive a little further and you can take another tight right. Straight in front of you will be the Thirsty Grunt you’re looking for, talking about their eating habits. When the dialogue starts your achievement will unlock. If you’re evil (like me), you can splat him:
And with that, you’ll unlock your Food Critic achievement / trophy, congratulations!
