As well as many Skulls and Terminals to find in Halo: Campaign Evolved, there are several miscellaneous achievements / trophies to unlock. In this guide we will show you how to unlock the All Shield, No Yield achievement / trophy for completing a mission on Heroic without taking any health damage. With the use of a Skull (or two for added visual and audio pleasure*), this is incredibly easy.
Mission: Pillar of Autumn
This achievement / trophy is easily unlocked on mission 1, Pillar of Autumn. Be sure to set the difficulty to Heroic and you will need to play the whole mission rather than starting at Rally Point Bravo or later.
To make this a cakewalk, you will want to equip the Grunt Funeral Skull. This can be earned on Mission 2, Halo. See here for our All Skull Locations Guide which we have already collated for you. The Grunt Funeral Skull will make any dead grunt explode into a deadly plasma, taking out friends or foes nearby (*you may wish to also use Grunt Birthday Party for added visual delight like in my images). On this tight corridor mission, you can create some spectacular chain reactions with one single bullet:
You also want to ensure you keep the Magnum Pistol at all times, one bullet is all it takes to kill a Grunt. You will also finish any Elites who have lost their shields with one more bullet.
During the mission, you will also have the chance to grab Overshields. They’re normally together in pairs, grab one and equip it. Then pickup the next one ready to be used when you lose your first one:
They’re the tips to make it easy. Just take your time on the mission and allow the Marines to move forward and attract enemy attention. There’s just two sections where you have a chance to lose health whilst alone, they are: 1) Where an Elite is stationary ahead, throw grenades at him and finish with your Magnum as needed; 2) in the tunnels there are Grunts who will of course explode. Pop one bullet and run back around a corner before they blow:
This is really straightforward for a player of any skill level. Once the cutscene has played you’ll unlock your All Shield, No Yield achievement / trophy, congratulations!
