Unlock the “Frenzied Flame” Achievement / Trophy
Check out our video guide below, or read on for a text and image guide.
To unlock the “Frenzied Flame” achievement / trophy, you will need to “Ignite the bonfire in the castle”. This takes during Chapter 10, Fortress, and is one of the last areas you’ll reach in the game.
You’ll be able to get this as you explore the castle area. The closest Lantern is the ‘Ramparts’ Lantern. You’ll want to head into the castle and go down the ladder and stairs to the lower section, where there’s some sewer-y bits. Across from where you enter there is a door that you can reach by swinging across on a wooden pole.
Go through the door and crouch to get through the hole in the wall in front of you. You’ll be in a room where a set of stairs goes down, on your right.
Head down the stairs and take a left, to see another doorway leading to some stairs going down again. You will end up in a long corridor.
Head down the corridor and on your left you will see a door into a small room where you will see a familiar, Dark Souls-esque bonfire. Use your fire transmutation on the bonfire to light it and unlock the achievement.
