From the Silent Cannons lantern located at the end of Chapter 6, CAREFULLY make your way across the floating building and debris until you reach the other side. This is after you have crossed the river the first time, from the Lantern in the poison village. You will speak to Lucjan and he will tell you to cross the river.

Once you have seen the cannons and there’s a bit of a cutscene with Napoleon and The Shrike in William’s head, you’ll be able to cross the second time.

Normally you would go through the cave in front of you to progress, but instead hook a right and run along the wall run emplacement until you reach a hidden area.

You will see a ranged enemy in front of you. Kill him and walk over to the window. You will have the option to talk to a NPC named Seamus.

He will give you a task to find him some blood so he can complete his experiment before sending you on your way.

To the right is an open area with multiple enemies. You will want to continue this way until you reach a rundown house.

Scattered throughout the house are various notes explaining what Seamus is trying to become, but our main point of interest is in the back section of the house.

Defeat the red-eyed enemy and make your way to the farm looking structure.

Take the blood from the pig to the right of the structure to complete the quest, but also grab the conveniently colored red wine off the barrel inside. Trust me.

Make your way back to Seamus and decide which path you want to choose.

The wine confirms the lie and the blood lets him go on believing he is what he believes he is. Hint, Hint. Pick the wine unless you really feel like ruining his day.

You’ll receive a Ferrofluid Flask Power upgrade for completing the quest, and you’ll grab an amber for beating that red-eyed monster earlier. Completing the side quest will earn you the “Blood and Wine” achievement / trophy.
