The Duskbloods Network Test Dated and Signup Information Detailed

One of the year’s most anticipated, yet most illusive titles The Duskbloods is about to finally pull back the curtain for a global hands-on. FromSoftware’s Switch 2 exclusive multiplayer title was revealed during the initial Switch 2 console unveiling but has remained largely clouded in mystery.

Despite the 2026 launch being reiterated in an investor call not too long ago, many had begun to expect the game would slip till 2027. Now, with less than half of the year remaining the developer is about to let the world get hands-on via The Duskbloods Network Test, which was announced during the June Nintendo Direct.

Announcing the Network Test via X (formerly Twitter), FromSoft have shared details on the dates / timings of the test, as well as how to register. We’ve got all of that for you below.

The Duskbloods Network Test Signup

You will be able to register for The Duskbloods Network Test next week via the official website. Applications open on July 22 (Wed.) at 7:00 a.m. PDT and close July 28 (Tues.) at 6:59 a.m. PDT. A Nintendo account is required to register.

Players will be notified if they’re successful August 7, 6am PT and will then be sent a code to download the Test from August 18 via the eShop.

A statement on the signup page states the following: “A network test involves using a pre-release version of the game to test performance prior to the commencement of service. We plan to conduct large-scale network load tests to check different technical aspects of the game’s online systems.”.

The Duskbloods Network Test Times

The Duskbloods Network Test will be held across three / four days depending on your time zone, starting on August 21 / 22, and running until August 24. The test will run at the same time across the globe.

What will be in The Duskbloods Network Test?

Little has been revealed by FromSoftware for now, but here’s what we know:

  • “The network test for The Duskbloods allows for up to eight players to participate together in each of the multiplayer matches while the game is still in development.”
  • This is not a demo and will only feature some of the game’s full content
  • The Duskbloods is Nintendo Switch 2 only, and will not run on a Nintendo Switch
  • Nintendo Switch Online is required to play in the test
  • Players will be asked to submit feedback from their time with the test to better improve the game for launch
  • Streaming or content creation from the test is forbidden
