The Siren’s Call Achievement Guide
The Siren’s Call Achievement requires us to find and open a locked safe in the Devil’s Reef Hotel.
The Devil’s Reef Hotel is made up of three floors and has a basement. Our main goal is to turn on a pump in the basement to remove the poisonous gas, allowing us to save the damsel.
As you are exploring the hotel, you will reach the 3rd floor. Enter room 301,
You will find the safe we are looking for and our first clue to opening it. The lyrics to “Baby, One More Tide”
Unfortunately, this means nothing to us until we find the next piece of the clue.
Enter room 303.
It’s locked, but you should already have the Staff Key. Inside this room is a corpse holding a note. “The Safe Code Letter”
Now we have everything we need to get into the safe. Head back to room 301.
The Code letter reads: “The Code for the safe is in the lyrics of Baby, One More Tide. P.S. The beasts with eight have three”
Now we need to decipher the lyrics.
Baby, One More Tide
“Spread my wings like a bat in flight
Curl my tail in hate and spite
Their octopus hearts beat in fear
As the tide makes all sins clear.”
Our only clue is “The beasts with eight have three”
And just like everybody in the world knows, Octopuses have three hearts, duh.
So with that knowledge
“Spread my wings like a bat in flight.” Bats have two wings, first number is 2.
“Curl my tail in hate and spite.” Tail is singular, so the second number is 1.
“Their octopus hearts beat in fear.” Octopus have three hearts, third number is 3.
“As the tide makes all sins clear.” Finally, WHAT’S IN THE BOX!!!!! There are seven deadly sins, the final number is 7.
Enter the code 2137 into the safe
