I hope you bought a spare pair of socks! It’s time to start exploring the sunken city of Arkham and help Calvin not only uncover the truth behind the curse that is plaguing his love but also grab all the achievements and trophies that go with it.

We absolutely loved The Sinking City 2; read our review here to see what makes it so special.

The Inheritance Achievement Guide

The Inheritance Achievement requires you to open a safe.

When you take control of Calvin, you are tasked with heading to the Library Annex. You will reach a closed floodgate that will require you to find some fuses to open it.

While you are exploring the streets of Arkham, you will enter an apartment building and come across a note, ‘To Martin ’. This note has part of the clue on how to open the safe and reads “the combination is the happiest time of my life.”

Continue through the apartment building and drop down into the radio shop next door. There will be a cutscene, and you will need to fight your first slither. Take it out, and you are safe to explore.

The Sinking City 2 radio shop

In the radio shop, there is another clue to the combination called ‘From A Sister’; it reads

“Has it truly been twenty-one years since you opened the shop? The same day you met your wife.” So we need to find out when the store was opened because that’s surely the happiest time of their life.

The Sinking City 2 is set in the year 1929. So, take 21 off 1929, and we have our combination. You will need to leave the radio shop through the front door and head back into the apartment building.

If you check the Radio Shop Sign, it was established in 1908.

The Sinking City 2 safe combination

Head back to the safe and enter the combination ‘1908 ’. Once the safe is open, take the contents and the The Inheritance achievement will pop.
