I hope you bought a spare pair of socks! It’s time to start exploring the sunken city of Arkham and help Calvin not only uncover the truth behind the curse plaguing his love but also earn all the achievements and trophies that come with it.
We absolutely loved The Sinking City 2, read our review here to see what makes it so special.
The Red Press Achievement Guide
The Red Press Achievement requires us to find three pieces of a printing plate and then solve a little puzzle. Two of the pieces we will stumble upon during story progression. The final piece can be missed, and the achievement requires us to backtrack two or three times. But the reward is worth it!
We will find the first piece of the printing plate while we are exploring the Church.

You will need to get the Star Key off a body in the bottom left-hand corner of the Church area by the locked gate. You will need this key to complete The Other Gods Achievement, so you probably will already have it.

Once you have the key, head to the locked tomb in the graveyard. Inside is the first piece of the printing plate.

This is all we can do for now. Continue the story until you reach a bloated whale that needs to be moved by a crane.

This is the “Fire Station/Bar” area
Finding The Second Piece.
Once you have interacted with the crane, you will be tasked with finding parts and fuel to get it working. A creature will crash through the front door of the bar, opening the way.
Head into the bar, and you will see a note and the Graveyard Key directly in front of you.

Now we have the key, let’s head back to the Church and head through the gate to the Printing House.

Continue working your way through the Printing House until you need to climb up onto a truck and head across to the empty house. This is the only way to go so you can’t get lost.
Inside the empty house, you will find the second piece of the Printing Plate.

Continue through the Printing House until you reach the main office.
A hidden room will open to your right, inside is The Red Press.
We still need to find the last piece, so grab the A.P.H. Key from inside the main office and head back downstairs to unlock the cage and grab the crane parts.

Back to the Fire Station
Now we need to head back to the Fire Station to find the Fuel, so we can move the whale and grab the last Printing Plate.
Once we are back in the Fire Station, make your way upstairs to find the fuel. Now we can move the whale.
When you are controlling the crane, you will have to attach the picker-upper bit (that is its technical name), which will open up access to the apartment building next to the Fire Station.

Before you leave the area, head up the ladder to the top floor of the apartment building to find the last piece of the Printing Plate.

Assemble the Printing Plates in the Red Press
Now we have all three Printing Plates, head back to the Printing House, back up to the Main Office, and into the secret room.

Place all three Printing Plates into the Press.
You will now have to flip different parts of the image, so all the pieces are either Gold or Silver.
There is no exact method to my madness, I just kept turning the corner pieces until they matched.
If you choose to print the Silver side, you will be rewarded with some Dream Essence.

If you choose Gold, you will be rewarded with Cutter’s Sturdy Stock. Which is a stock for your Shotgun.

Once you grab your reward, the Red Press Achievement will unlock, and you are one step closer to your 100%.
