It’s hard to believe but after many, many, many delays, Replaced is finally ours to enjoy. The action-platformer set in an alternative cyberpunk dystopian 1980s America sees the story of Warren and R.E.A.C.H.. The aforementioned R.E.A.C.H. being an artificial intelligence that has unwittingly been swapped into Warren’s body. Now, trying to outrun lots of folk who want to kill him, R.E.A.C.H. must return to the lab where it all happened to try undo what has been done.
Replaced: Solving the Symbols Puzzle in Chapter 3 Guide
This puzzle appears a fair way into Chapter 3.
You’ll cross a deeper water section with a flare, where you have to fend off creatures with the light to stop them attacking you. When you reach the next built-up bit, move up towards where you’re being called. A Slave Leader will ask you to help them escape.
Climb upwards and enter the room that’s above where you spoke to the Slave Leader. In here you’ll need to defeat the enemies before continuing.
Once you’re done with the enemies, head to your left and move the moveable power generator to the right so that the lights all go green. You want to be to the right of the fire in the middle.
From there, you can make your way up to the computer terminal on the platform to the right. Head to the right and use the pole to get up.
To free the slaves you will need to enter the combination that is indicated by the symbols on the pillar to the right of where the terminal is, and the code mentioned in the computer itself.
We can see that there is a B next to the cross symbol. So all things being equal:
- Knife = A
- Cross = B
- Chain = C
- Eye = D
As the order mentioned in the computer is CADB that means the correct sequence to input in the computer is:
- Chain
- Knife
- Eye
- Cross
This will unlock the cages and free the slaves!
