Find Some Small Critters

The Slide Of Death achievement/trophy requires you to kill 3 enemies during one slide. In order to slide you must double click the LS in, however you won’t slide forever as you will run out of momentum. The best way to combat that is by using some kind of hill to slide down.

The key to earning Slide Of Death is finding enough small creatures to kill. It seems the only creatures you can slide through and kill are the ones who aren’t aggro towards you unless you provoke them. The tiny little bug looking creatures or the raccoon looking creatures are your best bet for this.

Find a few of them together and hopefully you are near a hill that you can use for some extra slide time, wait until it looks like a good time to strike and start your slide. If you are having some issues getting them close together you can take a shot in one of the creatures direction and it will make them aggro towards you and perhaps help you line them up better.

A good location to earn this achievement is on the second planet, Xephyr. Head to the northern area of the Greater Sand Sea on the map. There’s an area here with a bait can on the ground and several Puffer Fox and Scorpio Puffers. With them all gathered it makes it easier to sprint and slide down this hill and take out 3 of them in one go.
