Clawbarella is the second boss you’ll face in Revenge of the Savage Planet. You’ll encounter her in the Depths of Trrn on the planet Zenithian Rift, the third planet you’ll reach later in the story. To access her arena, you must first progress the main quest and unlock the Toxic Deshocker suit upgrade, which allows you to safely navigate the toxic zones.

The main story will task you with stomping on several floating pillars. Once you stomp all 3 down the floor will crack and a hole will open, allowing you to enter a new area. This will lead you to Clawbarella’s lair.
Preparation
Make sure you’ve collected a few health upgrades and useful gear before taking her on—this boss can be a semi tough fight if you’re underpowered. Having health upgrades will allow you to make a lot of mistakes and turn this fight into a cake walk.
Boss Fight Breakdown
Clawbarella’s fight is split into three distinct phases.
First Phase
Focus on shooting the glowing lights on her chest. These are her weak spots.
Second Phase
Use your stomp ability to break the shell on each of her claws. Once the shells are cracked, shoot the glowing lights exposed on both claws.
Third Phase
Similar to Phase 2, but more intense. Begin by using your water gun to extinguish the flames on her claws. Then, break the shields on her claws again and shoot the glowing lights. Be careful—Clawbarella will now spit fire, which will also spread across the floor.
Tip: There are two health flowers on the platform if you need a quick heal during the fight.
After the Fight
Defeating Clawbarella unlocks the CRUSHED achievement. Head up the path behind her to collect the Franx Underwater Scooter upgrade for your drone—this allows you to start exploring underwater areas.
