Spirit of the North 2 has just been released and brings our furry fox friend back to save some lost animal Guardians. By mending their pain, by exploring the land defeating them in boss battles, you’ll help heal the land. Not only that, but you’ll gain allies to take on the final boss, Grimnir, the Shaman.

There are a lot of puzzles and secrets scattered across the world of Spirit of the North 2, some being trickier than others. So, naturally, you’ll need a place to relax in between saving Guardians and chasing wisps. Best scout our all those Fox Den locations.

Fox Dens

In each area of the game are Fox Dens. Locations where you can go to rest and recuperate. You can also use Fox Dens to store excess wisps and crystals. You can also restore your health by resting on a hay bed.

Each Fox Den has a portal for fast travel too (see below). To access the different Fox Dens, you need to purchase the correct key from a Raccoon Grotto. Doing so will add the location to the map. Head there and you’ll have access (as long as you have the key).

There’s also a room that has two perches in it. One of them will have a White Raven on it once you’ve beaten the first boss. You can unlock an upgrade (skills menu) to send it out to find loot. Return here occasionally to boost your crystal count.

You can return to the last Fox Den you rested at by pressing down on the D-Pad (Xbox).

To gain access to a Fox Den, you will need to purchase the Den’s key from a Raccoon Grotto. The key for that area appears available in the Grotto once you’ve reached that new location.

Misty Home – Misthaven

The Misty Home Fox Den is located north of the lake in the centre of the first main area, after Fox Island.

Mossy Home – Mosswood

The Mossy Home Fox Den is to the right of the Mosswood area, the second main area, after Fox Island.

Stormy Home – Stormhaven

The Stormy Home is located towards the bottom of the area, overlooking the fifth area, Ashlands.

Icy Home – Frigid Peaks

The Icy Home can be found to the north of the fourth main area of the game, after Fox Island.

Smokey Home – Ashlands

You can find the Smokey Home Fox Den on the right island of the fifth main area of the game, after Fox Island.

Foxy Home – Fox Island

The Foxy Home is located on Fox Island. You won’t be able to get to this until after you return here after defeating the Bear Guardian in Ashlands. The home is next to the Fox Island Portal.
