Unlock the Ashlands Snake Shrine in Spirit of the North 2 with this guide.

Spirit of the North 2 has just released and brings our furry fox friend back to save some lost animal Guardians. By mending their pain, through the medium of a boss battle, you’ll help heal the land. Not only that but you’ll gain an ally to take on the final boss, Grimnir, the Shaman. There are a lot of puzzles and secrets scattered across the world of Spirit of the North 2, some being trickier than others.

Unlock the Ashlands Snake Shrine

The Ashland’s Snake Shrine is located in the fifth main area of the game, Ashlands. The ember-filled area with lava and burnt trees. The snake shrine is at the foot of the snowy mountains of the Frigid Peaks area.

To gain access to the Snake Shrine, you’ll need to activate the three pressure plates at once. After much scouring, I could not find anything nearby to place on top of two of the plates (my furry self being the third item).

Head West (left) from the Snake Shrine, into the Frigid Peaks area and aim for Kalu Nol. This is the village of the Sun Wolf Tribe, that is near a lake and an Ancient Tree. Towards the right side of the lake are a lot of stone totems. Grab one and head back to the Snake Shrine, use the waypoint system in the map if you get lost.

Repeat this trip one more time to get a second stone totem. and then use yourself to sit on the third plate, completing the puzzle and opening the Snake Shrine.

Your reward, a shiny Skill Point and some crystals.
