Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen – Where To Find The Travelling Merchant Aymond

Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen is the DLC to the high-fantasy, open-world RPG by Capcom. It’s a beloved IP with a good following, including us! It’s the type of game where curiosity may kill the cat, but only if you’re not careful. Most of the time, curiosity will reward you with cool side-quests, new items, or collectibles! The game doesn’t tell you about them until you’ve found them, so you must be curious!

However, no matter how much you comb through the world of DD2 and its new area, Norgan, you are bound to have missed something, much like us! But here’s one cool thing we found in Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen.

Check out our Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen Review to get our full thoughts on the game.

Where to Find the Merchant Aymond

It’s rare to see people living in Norgan, and the ones that do are all located in the Norgandian Settlement. Aside from ourselves and others from Vermund researching Norgan, there’s another mysterious traveller out here in the cold.

Aymond will pop up everyone around Norgan once you locate him

You can find Aymon by accident all on your own during your travels around the Norgan Snowfield area of the map. However, the best way to find him for sure is when Amos tells you of a stranger who helped him when he was lost in the Norgan Snowfields during the quest “The Truant Soldier”. Visit him in Northwall Campground, and he’ll ask you to locate Aymond so he can thank him, and this will start “The Stranger in the Snowfield” quest.

Amos is located in the Northwall Campground along with the rest of the Vermund commission.

I actually found Aymond prior to this quest, and he’s been hanging out at the Norgandian Settlement since. However, during this quest, Aymond won’t be in the settlement and will be located at the campsite dedicated to this quest.

Tell Aymond about Amos, and he’ll make his way to the Northwall Campground. Completing this quest will improve your relationship with both men and will give you a 5% discount towards Aymond’s wares. He sells valuable items like the Climbing Hook, Regeneration Elixir, Norgan Ducat, and several rings, so it’ll be in your best interest to keep checking back every time his stock replenishes.

After completing another quest for him, “Quilt Me Down With a Feather,” he’ll even start selling you Level 4 Spoils!
