Rockstar Reveal More GTA VI Music and Radio Stations

Grand Theft Auto VI, GTA VI, Rockstar Games

Grand Theft Auto VI will finally launch six weeks today on November 19, 2026. Information about the game had been barren for over a year until the recent, highly successful, full reveal on Netflix. With little time to go until launch, Rockstar have started a steady and reliable drip feed of new information about the game, including very recently that Jason can be naked (thanks, IGN)

One of the most anticipated parts of GTA VI is its music. What started on the same Vice City streets on PlayStation 2, set Grand Theft Auto up to have one gaming’s greatest soundtracks. Last month, Rockstar revealed Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album which features 34 tracks from the likes of Travis Scott, Morgan Wallen and Keith Richards, that will feature in the game.

Today, Rockstar have shared more information on the radio stations that players will be able to listen to whilst they explore Leonida and Vice City. In a press release sent to GSC, six new stations were confirmed. The stations, that you can preview today on the official GTA webpage, are:

Cocoteo FM: Leonida’s home for the best of modern Latin music. Hosted by El Martillo and La Gata and featuring everything from bachata and merengue to dembow and reggaeton – Cocoteo FM is el party que nunca se apaga.

Back Country Radio: MW and Delta Dawne blast renegade country music to the Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, and beyond. Stay tuned for Back Country’s roving reporter, swamp meteorologist, and Delta’s not-so-secret lover Mud Dog Mike checking in from the driver’s seat of his Grassrivers airboat.

AfroBank FM: Turn up the gbedu with Burna and Palmsy, AfroBank FM’s dynamic duo curating the best in African music, from 20th-century classics and undiscovered gems to contemporary sounds like amapiano, 3-step, and more.

The Chamber 106.6: Crushing metal has landed in Leonida. Jump in the pit with DJ Kerry and DJ Tom for classic metal from the ‘80s and beyond as they channel Leonida’s deep metal roots.

Flash FM: The Vice City institution that delivers the best in pop music with Robyn and Alex — guaranteed to make you dance no matter where you find yourself in the Goodtime State.

Dirty South Classics: A little southern hospitality from Trick and Trina, blasting regional rap and hip-hop classics. From the beach to the block, nobody reps Leonida and the South like they do.

Loading up the preview on the game’s website I was instantly greeted by some Bad Bunny, a solid start if I do say so myself. But, the best news of all is that Flash FM will return. Vice City’s greatest radio station will be back with round the clock pop music, hosted by Robyn and Alex. The station will include music from M83 and Zara Larsson. And, with any luck will pay homage to the original there will be some 80s in there too.

Radio on Foot

For the first time in GTA, Jason and Lucia will both have headphones to listen to the game’s radios whilst out on foot. Also confirmed today is that the game will feature in-game podcasts, with too can be listened to on the go.

Finally, in case you missed it yesterday, XBOX have shot down rumours that GTA VI will be playable on PC via streaming. They also confirmed that XBOX doesn’t have exclusive rights for the game to be played via streaming, opening the possibility for it to be streamed in the PlayStation ecosystem too.

Six weeks to go.
