With little over two months to go until Grand Theft Auto VI releases on XBOX Series X|S and PlayStation 5, fans are still reeling from the news that the game will not feature a true physical version of the game. The ‘physical’ copy of GTA VI will launch as a code in a box, allowing players to redeem the code on their console up to 7 days before launch.
It seems that Rockstar Games’ stance is that the game will never see a disc release. However, alongside the PS5 limited edition GTA VI controller, they do have an alternative disc offer for fans in the form of GTA VI: The Album. The Album is a physical vinyl and CD (yes, really) release of some of Grand Theft Auto VI’s tracks which had been teased in the real world by artists like Travis Scott, and music streaming giant, Spotify earlier this week:
— Spotify (@Spotify) September 16, 2026
The 34 track album “that capture[s] the electric energy of Grand Theft Auto VI’s world of Vice City and Leonida” will feature the following tracks, with more to be revealed in due course:
- Yung Lean – That’s It (feat. Future & Metro Boomin)
- Travis Scott – RHYNO (prod. by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo)
- CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.., & Etienne de Crécy – Sexy Magic
- Morgan Wallen – Last Thing You Need
- Rauw Alejandro – Macacoa 2000
- Keith Richards – Bright Lights, Big City
You can listen to the 6 above six tracks from the album now at GTA VI: The Album’s website, with pre-orders open there if you’re interested. The full GTA VI track list is yet to be revealed by Rockstar Games, but as the November 19, 2026 launch rapidly approaches, it may be revealed soon.
There are three different versions of the Album which all ship for November 20, 2026 with the below showing editions from cheapest, to most expensive.
