The Most Beautiful Sword in the Land Trophy Guide

The Most Beautiful Sword in the Land trophy/achievement is unlocked by finding all of the Rainbow Ingots, which you can use to purchase different appearances for Minutero, your clockhand sword.

You can access the Blacksmith, Clouphaestus, once you receive the Hookshot upon meeting Arpeggio. His forge is found in the square to the right of the door leading to Meridian Village, and you’ll need 500 Star Shards to unlock each look for Minutero.
1. Tick Town

You can actually buy your first Rainbow Ingot from the Traveler in Tick Town after you get the Hookshot; return home with at least 1000 Star Shards, and this one is yours!
2. Erazus Forest

From the Erazus Forest Fast Travel Point, head back down the hill and look for some Hookshot points over the water to your left. Use these to get over to an alcove in the rock wall where a chest with this Rainbow Ingot waits.
3. Mount Cinder

Head to Mount Cinder, and reach the point where you have to platform across several rock pillars with rotating flamethrowers on them. You want to get around to where the lava waterfall is, and look for a Hookshot point above it. Continue upriver, running and jumping on the large half-submerged gears.

While on the last gear, look to your right and jump to the rocky outcrop. On top of it is a chest with your Rainbow Ingot in it.
4. Meridian Village

You need to have the Stopwatch ability from inside the Time Flux Channeler you reach after Lantern Port to get this one.
Near the start of the Meridian Village region, you’ll climb up some buildings to reach a higher area with more buildings on your left. Tucked between them is a Wall Jump section; use it to get on the higher balcony, go to the other end of it, and use the peak of the roof below you to reach the Cross Time Rift.

Use Stopwatch to enter, and complete the gauntlet to find a chest containing another Rainbow Ingot at the end.
5. Clockwork Academy

Drop down from the Clockwork Academy Fast Travel Point into the area below and battle the Inkies that appear. Once they are all defeated, the shield blocking the Rainbow Ingot filled chest will disappear, letting you take your prize.
6. Canal Hamlet

Starting from the Canal Hamlet Fast Travel Point, continue through the level until you reach the small bridge. Go past it, under the canal, and through the natural stone arch at the end. Tucked at the back of this area is another Cross Time Rift.

Head inside using the Stopwatch ability, and make it to the end of the challenge room to find a chest with the Rainbow Ingot.
7. Auric Palace

Starting from the Auric Palace Fast Travel Point, continue forward until you reach the point where you repeatedly hit gears to rotate pathways. You need to use your Sundial to ride the rail of the last pathway to reach the top of the semi circle ruin.

Grind along the rails to get launched up to a large arena and fight a bunch of Inkies. Once they are all dealt with, a flower will bloom.

Bounce on the flower to get launched up to where you will find a chest with another Rainbow Ingot in it.
8. Tick Town

A second Rainbow Ingot will appear among the Traveler’s wares back in Tick Town, but the exact time is unknown. I bought it after getting the Sundial, but as long as you are scrolling to the very bottom whenever you visit, and have another 1000 Star Shards to spend, you shouldn’t miss it.
9. Deepthorne

You need to have Crunia’s Wings, which you get in the Clockmaker’s Rest region, for both these last two ingots.
Climb up the scaffolding and buildings near the Deepthorne Fast Travel Point, traverse the rooves and bounce on a flower to reach the top of the stone tower. Look across to the cliff wall to see a Cross Time Rift, and use Crunia’s Wings to glide through the boost ring and reach it.

This was the toughest of the ingots to collect. After using your Stopwatch ability to enter the rift, you’ll see a bell and a cog next to each other, and across the way a large pair of gold doors. You need to hit the gear to open the door, and then strike the bell to briefly reveal the ghost blocks.
You need to get up and through the gold doors before they close. Do your best to memorise a path without hitting another bell on the way, and remember you need to ride a moving block up to reach the end.

Squeeze through the gold doors and open the chest to get another Rainbow Ingot.
10. Desert of the Last Memory

Not long after reaching the Desert of the Last Memory Fast Travel Point, you’ll run into the mysterious Wilhelm again. After talking with him, glide through the green glass rings using Crunia’s Wings and grind a rail to reach tall tower full of corruption.
You need to quickly hit the gear on the platform in the centre of the tower to lift yourself up quickly, then jump to an external ledge to avoid taking damage.

You want to jump to the ledge looking down on a Cross Time Rift which you can glide to and then enter with the Stopwatch ability.

The aim of this rift is to jump between the electrified spinning platforms whilst trying to hit the projectiles back at the machine firing them at you. After the first three, you need to use Crunia’s Wings to reach a second ring of platforms and do the same again.
Once both layers are finished, glide through the boost ring at the centre and over to the chest on a distant platform containing a Rainbow Ingot.

Once you have collected all of the Rainbow Ingots, you’ll unlock The Most Beautiful Sword in the Land trophy/achievement!
