inKONBINI may be a convenience store simulator at first glance; however, its main focus is on the interaction with your valued customers and how their visit to HONKI PONKI has impacted the lives of its workers as well as their own. While Makoto interacts with the characters that visit the store while she’s working, the world around her carries on when she isn’t. There are co-workers that leaves notes for us that we will never meet. However, they exist within the game, as they leave notes for us as well as articles of news that happen outside HONKI PONKI. This is our guide for the Avid Reader trophy.

Avid Reader Trophy Guide
While it is unimportant to the game for you to read the notepads or newspaper, it’s Makoto’s only connection to the outside world. Since we’re always working in the evening, never even meeting your co-workers, it’s fun being able to live vicariously through them by reading the notepads and newspaper every day.
Shift 1: Monday, August 23rd
Notepad that can be found in the seating area
Shift 2: Tuesday, August 24th
Notepad that can be found in the kitchen area, and a newspaper in the seating area
Shift 3: Wednesday, August 25th
Check out the newspaper stand by the cash registers, and the notepad can be found on top of a stool by the baked goods display.
For the remainder of the week, check on the newspaper stand along with the notepad.
Shift 4: Thursday, August 26th
On top of the waste area beside the blue refrigerated display.
Shift 5: Friday, August 27th
Right underneath your jacket and blue cap
Shift 6: Saturday, August 28th
The final one can be found in the seating area.
The Avid Reader trophy will pop up right away when you interact with the final notepad. Congrats!
