Spirit of the North 2: Children of Eona Guide

Use our Spirit of the North 2 ‘Children of Eona’ guide and earn yourself the Children of Eona achievement / trophy.

Spirit of the North 2 has just been released and brings our furry fox friend back to save some lost animal Guardians. By mending their pain, by exploring the land, and defeating them in boss battles, you’ll help heal the land. Not only that, but you’ll gain allies to take on the final boss, Grimnir, the Shaman.

There are many puzzles and secrets scattered throughout the world of Spirit of the North 2, some trickier than others. One such tricksy puzzle is locating the six burial sites of Eona’s children.

Children of Eona

You’ll unlock the “Children of Eona” achievement / trophy for locating the six burial sites across the game. There’s one in each region.

What you’re looking out for is a location on the map that reads ‘A place of legend’ in the sub-text. Be sure to approach the burial site to ensure your discovery is registered.

Most are easy enough to find…

Misthaven – Runa

The Tower of Runa. Located in the upper part of the map.

Mosswood – Kotho

Head to Lake Kotho.

Stormvale – Hyskar

The Ruins of Hyskar at the top right of the area.

Frigid Peaks – Valulf

This is the sneakiest one to find.

This one is underground in the Thal’Dulian Glacier (see green waypoint on image below). To get there, head south from the Frigid Peaks portal and look for a hole in the ground. You’ll go on an underground stream.

You’ll eventually reach an Ancient Tree at the end of the stream. The burial site is back up the way you came, up the slippery bit. You’ll need either Dash or Spirit Jump to get to where you need to go.

There’s a little side path to the right at the top of the slope (if coming from the Tree). You can reach it if you’re coming down the slope, it’ll be on your left and you can pull back on the directional stick to slow you down, but it’s very sneakily hidden.

You could rest at the Icy Fox Den, then if you miss it and find it too tricky to reach. Teleport back there, portal to the Frigid Peaks portal and repeat.

Ashlands – Eynbor

You’re looking for the Cavern of Eynbor, it’s in the south of the right island in Ashlands.

You’ll access it from the side of the volcano. It’s a little sneaky.

Fox Islands – Nemara

Head to the Gardens of Nemara on Fox Island. You won’t be able to get here until you’ve beaten Grimnir, the final boss.

I hope that was useful. Be sure to look out for our other Spirit of the North 2 guides.
