Find all the Spirit of the North 2 Snake Shrines and earn yourself the ‘Way of the Snake’ achievement / trophy.

Spirit of the North 2 has just been released and brings our furry fox friend back to save some lost animal Guardians. By mending their pain, by exploring the land defeating them in boss battles, you’ll help heal the land. Not only that, but you’ll gain allies to take on the final boss, Grimnir, the Shaman.

There are a lot of puzzles and secrets scattered across the world of Spirit of the North 2, some being trickier than others. This includes the Snake Shrines which are scattered throughout the world of Spirit of the North 2.

Snake Shrines

You’ll unlock the “Way of the Snake” achievement for finding the five Snake Shrines in the game. By locating them and getting inside, you’ll get a reward too, either some crystal shards or a skill point. Some of them have puzzles to solve to get you said reward.

They are indicated on the map by this snakey symbol:

You’ll know you’re in the right place because they’ll be a statue of a snake somewhere about the place, as well as the game telling you you’ve reached a Snake Shrine:

Misthaven

The Misthaven Snake Shrine is located to the bottom right of the map. It’s in the mouth of a huge stone snake, should be pretty easy to spot.

Mosswood

The Mosswood Snake Shrine is also to the bottom right of the area, near the snowy mountains of the Frigid Peaks. This is located near the coast and in a cave.

Stormvale (1/2)

The first Stormvale Snake Shrine is located on the outskirts of the area, in a cave below the snowy top to the North of the map.

Stormvale (2/2)

The second Stormvale Snake Shrine is located to the middle right of the main Stormvale area. It’s in Windsong Lake, you’ll need to use the Rune of the Drowned to get into the cave that it’s in. The entrance is underwater.

Ashlands

The final Snake Shrine, the in the Ashlands area, can be located close to the Frigid Peaks area.
