Defeat the Wolves boss battle in Spirit of the North 2 with this guide.

Spirit of the North 2 has just released and brings our furry fox friend back to save some lost animal Guardians. By mending their pain, through the medium of a boss battle, you’ll help heal the land. Not only that but you’ll gain an ally to take on the final boss, Grimnir, the Shaman.

Defeat the Wolves Boss Battle

To defeat the Wolves, you must first get to them. You’ll do that in the Frigid Peaks area, the fourth main area of the game. It’s an icy tundra, covered in snow. As you explore the area, you’ll unlock access to the Temple of the Wolf. You can find it pretty bang centre in the Frigid Peaks, and the whole map actually.

If you’re struggling to find the items needed to unlock the Temple of the Wolf. Look to the sky and follow the red ribbons. Where these lead are the locations where the temple items are. Once you’ve found an item, return it to the Temple of the Wolf. Once these have been found, you’ll be granted access.

Make your way through, and you’ll find the boss arena with the Wolves in it.

This boss battle is pretty simple. You’ve got to dodge the attacks until either Wolf gets tired. Then use your dash ability to attack the them. You’ll have need of your recently acquired glide jump (barking while gliding) to avoid some area attacks.

There are three phases to this fight.

Against the White Wolf. It fires fire at you and tries to grab you in its mouth to hurt you. It also does an area fire attack that you’ll need to jump over. When it does this attack it will tire, leaving itself open to a dash attack. Hit him twice and he’ll limp away.
Against the Black Wolf. The Black Wolf can turn invisible, save for purple flame pawprints on the floor. Dash out of the way when it gets close. Watch out for its purple fire attacks and purple area attack (glide and jump). Again, after that attack, it will tire and you can hurt it with a dash attack. Do this twice and you’ll enter the third phase.
Against both wolves. They’ll both do their same attacks as before, but you’ve got to be wary of both now. They’ll both do their area attacks at the time same time. You should have time to dash into both of them as they tire. The second time you can attack them that should be enough to finish the fight

Congratulations! That’s your fourth boss defeated. On to the next!
