Defeat the Ram boss battle in Spirit of the North 2 with this guide.

Spirit of the North 2 has just released and brings our furry fox friend back to save some lost animal Guardians. By mending their pain, through the medium of a boss battle, you’ll help heal the land. Not only that but you’ll gain an ally to take on the final boss, Grimnir, the Shaman.

Defeat the Ram Boss Battle

To defeat the Ram, you must first get to him. You’ll do that in the Stormvale area, the third main area of the game. It’s a very green and woody area. As you explore the area, you’ll unlock access to the Temple of the Ram. You can find it to the east of Stormvale.

If you’re struggling to find the items needed to unlock the Temple of the Ram. Look to the sky and follow the red ribbons. Where these lead are the locations where the temple items are. Once you’ve found an item, return it to the Temple of the Ram. Once these have been found, you’ll be granted access.

Make your way through, and you’ll find the boss arena with the Ram in it.

This boss battle is pretty simple. You’ve got to dodge his attacks until he gets tired. Then use your newly acquired dash ability to attack the ram. Do this four times and you’ll defeat him.

A few things to bear in mind:

Annoyingly, you dash forward where the camera is facing, not where your Fox is aiming. That means you need to bear this in mind as you dash. In a couple of early attempts, I ended dashing into the Ram due to where my camera was pointed.
You can’t damage him until he is tired, you’ll just take damage.
I would recommend using the rune that gives you two units of armour when you use the Statue of Eona (the checkpoint statues). You can then switch your rune once you’ve got your armour.

Just keeping dodging his dashes and electric attacks until he heads to the centre of the arena. An electric field will start closing in on you, give it a few moments, and then dash out before it hits you. The Ram is vulnerable to a dash attack after that. You won’t have long, so bear in the cool down time of your dash.

Congratulations! That’s your third boss defeated. On to the next!
