Revenge of the Savage Planet – Crash Test Dummy Achievement or Trophy Guide

The Crash Test Dummy achievement is part of the Shama Lama’s Influencer Accelerator Program DLC in Revenge of the Savage Planet.

To earn this achievement you will need to progress the story along far enough to receive a K-Mail at your habitat with the subject Crash Test Dumberest. The Shama Lama wants you to safety test some protoype gear.

Step 1: Equip the Prototype Suit

Head to your 3D Printer, go to the Suit menu, and equip Shama Lama's Prototype Suit. Your mission: die in four different ways while wearing it, each death collecting valuable safety data.

You must die from:

High-speed landing
Extreme heat
High voltage
Flash solidification

The first three are straightforward. The fourth might take a bit more effort.

High Speed Landing

Find a good drop zone on any planet. Climb to a decent height, leap off, and let gravity do its thing. Splat!

Extreme Heat

Travel to Zenithian Rift and teleport to Crash Site. Lava is right in front of you"”jump in and melt away.

High Voltage Current

Go to planet Xephyr and use the Cactus Valley teleport. Ahead in the distance is a fungal generator. Jump into it a couple of times until you’re fried to a crisp.

Flash Solidification

This one's a bit trickier.

Option 1:
From Crash Site in Zenithian Rift, head straight across the lava rocks into an icy tunnel. You'll emerge into a large cavern filled with Crushers (lobster-like creatures) and Ice Detonator plants. Stand next to an Ice Detonator to freeze yourself. If a Crusher attacks while you're frozen, you'll shatter"”unlocking this death type.

Option 2:
If you’ve advanced far enough, teleport to Frip’s Big Chill. Cross the ice lake to a supply crate area where you'll find several Crushers and Ice Detonators"”perfect for staging your icy demise.

Once you've died all four ways, you'll complete the Shama Lama's bizarre safety test and unlock the Crash Test Dummy achievement. Time to ditch the prototype and slip into something less fatal!
