The Cannonball achievement is earned in Revenge of the Savage Planet by dive bombing from a height of over 50 meters into water. A great spot to do this is on Xephyr, the second planet.

Getting There
You’ll need the Magnetic Fork gadget unlocked through story progression. Start from the Cactus Valley teleporter and head straight, climbing the rocks ahead to reach a grapple rail. Ride it until you reach the white square map marker—this is the start of your climb into G’Nortt’s High Rise.

The Climb
After dismounting from the rail, you’ll be facing a metallic cave with a SLAPPI shrine. Don’t enter. Instead, turn left and use your Magnetic Fork to extend the metallic crystal platforms along the cliffside. Jump up the three sections, then grapple to the ledge above from the third one.
Continue upward by hopping across rocks until you can grapple to a higher ledge. Turn right, extend a metallic bridge, and sprint/double-jump across to the opposite cliff ledge. Break the metallic crystal wall and take the first right to climb higher—going straight leads to a dead end with an orange goo egg.
Once outside again, turn right, extend more crystal bridges, and retract the final crystal pillar to create a path. Stand on the retracted pillar, grapple up to the next ledge, then follow the path: go straight briefly, turn left to climb a rock ramp, and at the top, turn right. From here it’s a straight run along the cliff tops.
Up here is a cliff that looks like a diving board jutting out over the water far below. There is an orange goo egg to pick up here as well.

The Dive
Eventually, you’ll reach a ledge shaped like a diving board that juts out over the water far below. There’s also an orange goo egg here.
Sprint off the edge, double jump, and press Y (or your system’s equivalent) to dive. You’ll earn the Cannonball achievement if you land in the water. The game should prompt you to dive, but if not, try pressing Y a few times mid-air to ensure the dive registers.
Tip: If you miss the water, it’s a bit of a climb back up, but fortunately, not too time-consuming.
