Like every shooter before it, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 also has an achievement requiring you to take down enemies without the use of your weapon, requiring you to get creative with how you take down your opponents. With the Safety’s On Achievement, you need to take down every enemy in the kitchen without using a gun while playing on Hardened or higher difficulty. Our guide will get you through with the best tips on how to accomplish this.

Safety’s On Guide
While you need to complete this section of the mission on Hardened difficulty or higher, that doesn’t mean you need to play the whole thing on that difficulty. Start the mission on your preferred difficulty(recruit difficulty if you want to rush this) and make your way through the club, taking down bouncers and guards. Make sure to grab some bottles along the way, as you’ll need these later.
Once you reach the hallway in the photo above, pause your game and switch the difficulty to hardened. Switch to your fists, and once you’re ready, open the doors and go prone behind the counter and garbage can. What you’re going to want to do here is throw a bottle at an enemy to make them drop their weapon. Once they do, sprint back into the hallway behind them to fight them 1v1. Parry their attack and perform a takedown.
Repeat this process with the first 3 enemies. While you can choose either side to focus on, I went with the left side. If you run out of bottles, there are some up on the counter above you to the left. Take the 3 guys on the left out, luring each back into the far side of the hallway.
Once they’re dispatched, slowly crouch along the left side, and spring to the first enemy when you turn the corner. Keep him between you and the other guard, and parry his attack to trigger a takedown. Repeat the process with his friend, and once the last enemy is down, the Safety’s On achievement will pop.
