Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 features a mission from the perspective of a North Korean soldier on the lookout for a deserter from the army. This achievement requires you to find the whereabouts of the deserter without harming any villagers. There are a few different ways to go about this, and this guide will cover the quickest way to do that.

No Harm Done Guide
During mission 3, ‘Following Orders’, you will be tasked with figuring out the location of the deserter. Thankfully, this achievement can be done right at the start of the mission, and requires no combat.
Once you take control and move into the house, head around the corner and open the door on the left to a bathroom. Open the cabinet on the wall to find an MP3 player. Grab this and head out of the bathroom.
Next, head inside the room on your left, and inside the hutch in the corner you will find a Western book; grab that, and head back out into the living room. This is all the contraband you need to collect for this achievement, but if you also want to unlock the No Stone Unturned achievement at the same time, check out that guide to find all other collectibles needed.
Anyway, talk to the man now and ask about the contraband. We will give excuses for why they are there, and the other soldier will say this is enough to warrant an execution. The man will instead tell you where the deserter is, and at this point, as long as you didn’t hurt anyone, the No Harm Done achievement will unlock.
Hopefully this guide was easy and useful for helping you unlock the No Harm Done Achievement. Be sure to check out our other guides for the game as well.
