It seems the Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary celebrations are firmly underway, with Square Enix announcing two books to commemorate the beloved RPG’s milestone.
The first of these books is the Final Fantasy X 25th Anniversary Memorial Album, an HD remastered version of the same FFX Memorial Album that was published by DigiCube Inc. back in 2002. It features scenario text and images, including some from the game’s cutscenes, to faithfully recreate the story of the game.

Releasing on July 3rd, the official date of FFX’s anniversary, the Final Fantasy X 25th Anniversary Memorial Album is priced at ¥3,520 (or your national equivalent) and is available to pre-order now on the official Square Enix online store.
The second art book to be revealed is the Final Fantasy X 25th Anniversary Visual Art Book: Eternal Spira, which compiles the art released for FFX up to this point. It will also include exclusive illustrations by Tetsuya Nomura created for ‘FFX’ Kabuki, as well as special illustrations of Tidus and Yuna released in the bonus footage [WILL] for the ‘FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster’ version.

This Final Fantasy X 25th Anniversary Visual Art Book: Eternal Spira is up for pre-order now and is priced at ¥2,750 (or your regional equivalent). It will be released alongside the Memorial Album on July 3rd.
With the launch of the Final Fantasy X 25th Anniversary website back in April, Square Enix has already revealed a swathe of merchandise, including plushes of all the party characters and the Final Fantasy X House Grooves album, which reimagines several of the game’s songs as House beats.
With the official anniversary date fast approaching, we expect to see more announcements from SE regarding FFX in the coming weeks, and if it’s anything like how Final Fantasy IX’s anniversary was last year, we’ll continue to get reveals and events throughout 2026.
