If you’d have asked Gamer Social Club writers at the start of the year what surprise franchise returns 2026 would bring, I highly doubt that any of us would have mentioned Stuntman. The franchise that hasn’t seen an entry since the XBOX 360-era’s, Ignition debuted at the June PlayStation State of Play, looking very fun indeed.
Announced alongside collaborations with franchises including The Fast and the Furious, Miami Vice and Back to the Future, the reboot later went on to confirm Jurassic Park would feature too. The game is made with Universal Products & Experiences so it should come as no surprise that more cinema screen franchises with recognisable cars would feature. At today’s Galaxies Showcase, the latest tie-in, Knight Rider has been showcased in a brand new trailer. Of course, the legendary theme tune features too:
The gameplay trailer shows Knight Rider’s iconic car, KITT shooting lasers to open the path ahead, alongside making huge jumps to explosive backdrops and more. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem that David Hasselhoff will be recreated in Stuntman: Hollywood.
There is no release date for Stuntman: Hollywood as of yet, so it can be expected to launch in 2027. Twenty years after the release of its predecessor, but it is currently shaping up to be very much worth the wait.
