Shortly after announcing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition and other titles will be leaving Game Pass at the end of August 2026, XBOX have revealed the next batch of titles coming to the subscription service.
The biggest highlight of this wave of games is certainly Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, a prequel title to the modern action adventure series which is a day one addition to the service. Resonance features a new protagonist, Sophia in her own tale which focuses less on stealth, with a more action-orientated adventure.
Also joining the service for the first time is Vapor World: Over the Mind which arrives day one to Game Pass via the Game Preview (early access) programme. With something of a Bloodborne aesthetic, the 2D rhythm-based combat title looks very promising. There’s a demo available on XBOX now, but the trailer below shows this could be a promising addition for subscribers:
2D platforming survival title, Blood Dungeon, from the creators of highly-regarded, Nidhogg also comes to Game Pass day one in a weeks time. There too are a number of existing Game Pass Ultimate titles joining the Premium tier including Egging On, Starsand Island and Relooted. Aerial_Knight’s DropShot is joining Premium as well, but I can personally tell you that you should avoid that one, it’s one of the worst games I’ve played this generation.
