Denshattack – All Chapter 1 Spray Cans & Film Rolls

Denshattack guide

The hotly anticipated indie game Denshattack! is here. The game released July 15th and it is as fun as it looks. IF you are like us you are on the hunt for collectibles and achievements. Well you’ve come to the right place. This guide will help you find every single spray can and film roll in Chapter 1 of Denshattack!

First off, why do you need to collect these items? The simple answer is they are tied to a bunch of achievements. Collecting all spray cans will unlock the Jet Setter achievement. Collecting all film rolls will unlock the Total Toritetsu achievement.

Additionally you need to collect both items in order to unlock Fandom Royalty for unlocking all the (EN)Zines and Full Set for unlocking all stickers.

Chapter 1 is quite a lengthy one but it is a great introduction to the game. Chapter 1 features 7 levels that will have collectibles in the form of spray cans and film rolls. The first 6 levels will have 4 spray cans and 1 film roll while the final level will only have 2 spray cans and 1 film roll.

The game is very fast paced so its a bit difficult for guides, but we shall do our best. A couple of notes here before we begin.

You don’t have to collect everything in a single run. If you miss something don’t fret, you can simply run the track again and grab whatever you missed. Additionally, the breaks are your friend here. You can slow yourself down and focus on collectibles for one run and then go back and try for the best time and trick score.

With that out of the way, lets jump into our spray can and film roll guide.

Adventure Awaits

Spray Can 1/4

Right near the beginning you will jump and break a bridge which is followed by a drift turn. As soon as you come out of the drift there will be another bridge above with the spray can floating above. Time your jump to jump over the bridge and collect the can.

Spray Can 2/4

Follow the track and you will drop down to a water area. After jumping over the first waterfall stick to the left side of the second section whenever possible. On the far left track just before the next waterfall will be the next spray can.

Spray Can 3/4

You will head through a tunnel which is followed by a drift. On the other side of the drift make sure to go onto the left track where there is a ramp to jump off of rather than taking the turn to the right. After a few jumps and track switching the next can will be at the last jump.

Spray Can 4/4

From the previous can you will have to jump over an obstacle. Upon landing make sure you head onto the far right track. Follow this around and on the last jump you will find the can.

Film Roll 1/1

Near the very end of the track you will get put into a side view with the Moai Head statues in the background. You will go around a drift corner and then jump over the statues. Above the middle statue is a piece of track with the film roll on it. When above that track do an air stomp to drop down and collect the film roll.

Seaside Showdown

Spray Can 1/4

Close to the beginning of the track you will drift around a corner and do a jump. You should notice the other racer to your right. As soon as you land make sure you stick to the far left track where you will grab the first spray can.

Spray Can 2/4

Shortly after the previous can you will do a jump followed by a little loop like a roller coaster. After the loop move to the far left track when you can to pick up the can.

Film Roll 1/1

A little further on you will be tasked with driving on top of a ferris wheel. You will see the film ahead as you will have to jump over a pipe in the process. This is pretty hard to miss with it being on the main path.

Spray Can 3/4

Right after the film roll you will drop down into a fiery pit. On the first jump inside move to the right track. Then as soon as you can jump and quickly move to the far right track where you will easily see the spray can.

Spray Can 4/4

Immediately after the previous spray can make sure to keep to the right whenever you can off of jumps. You should see a green sign pointing you in the right direction. After a couple of drifts and jumps you will get to another set of 2 track. Stay to the right side again where you will see the spray can just before a barrier requires you to jump to the left track. It is above the tracks so you will have to time your jump to get the can as well as move to the left so you don’t crash.

Already collected in screenshot but its above just before the barrier.

Keep The Balance!

Spray Can 1/4

Progress through the level until you smash through a glass window. Upon landing there will be a bend followed by the track ending. Rather then jumping over to the track to your right jump over the obstacle at the end grabbing the spray can above.

Spray Can 2/4

Shortly after the previous can you will hit a bend and have to jump side to side on a couple of tracks. At the end of one of those tracks you will notice the spray can above. Jump the track near the end to get it before transferring over.

Spray Can 3/4

You will be doing a series of grinds and jumping between tracks. Ahead you will notice where one track ends and there is a track to the left. Instead of taking that track jump the boxes at the end of the track as you will see the spray can above. Pretty hard to miss.

Spray Can 4/4

Almost directly after the previous can you will drive through an already broken glass window. On the other side after a turn will be another dead end you must jump. Do so and then immediately do an air stomp onto the track below where the spray can can be collected.

Quickly jump here then do an air stomp

Film Roll 1/1

Right after collecting the last spray can you will hit a jump and collect this film roll. I think you automatically collect it just by hitting the jump. The camera angle switches pretty much right as you collect it.

Riding The Tides

Spray Can 1/4

You will see this spray can right from the beginning. Almost as soon as you get moving you will want to jump so that you go to the track straight ahead rather than turn.

Once on this new track just continue on and it will be at the end where the ramp is.

Spray Can 2/4

You will hit a jump that launches you into some electrical wires. After the wires the path will split. Go to the left and then avoid the barrier by moving over a track.

You should probably pretty easily see the spray can ahead now. While it is on the track to your right you can actually just stay on the current track and jump near the spray can to collect it.

Spray Can 3/4

Shortly after the previous can there will be 3 tracks. Head to the far right track. At the end you will notice it is blocked but there is also a track above you and to the right. Jump up and over to that track and the spray can will be up here on it.

Spray Can 4/4

Almost immediately after the previous spray can you will hit a turn and see a large bridge ahead of you. Time your jump to get up on the top of the bridge to the left. The spray can will be at the top.

Film Roll 1/1

Near the end of the level you will be riding a boat in a tidal wave. You will notice the film roll floating above the wave near the end of it. Time your jump and collect it.

Glow Up!

This level is open ended and split into 3 sections, painting the old mine, destroying comm towers and destroying a construction site. What order you go in is open so keep that in mind and follow the signs.

Spray Can 1/4 – Comms Tower

After going up and over the first tower on the other side you will make a left turn. You should notice the spray can above the track right after the turn. Jump and collect it.

Spray Can 2/4 – Comm Towers

Immediately after the previous spray can the track will split. Take the left track and after the turn jump and move over to the far left track. The spray can is on this track before another jump.

Film Roll 1/1 – Painting Old Mine

You will eventually enter a big cave. Upon coming out of the cave you will hit a jump down to 3 tracks below. You will be lined up to the far right track.

The film roll is above the middle track shortly after the jump. You might be better off crashing as the spawn is right infront of it. Either way make sure to get to the middle track to collect the film roll.

Spray Can 3/4 – Painting Old Mine

Shortly after the film roll you will come to a section of half pipes that you naturally follow. On the last one which lets you exit the paint section you will hit a jump and notice the spray can below. You will likely be low enough to collect it normally but to be safe you can always air stomp to collect it.

Spray Can 4/4 – Construction Site

You will eventually crash into a tall glass building. Inside will be the track you are on and a track just above you to your right. Jump onto that above track and the spray can will be on it near the end where there is a jump.

8 Million Roads

Spray Can 1/4

This one is essentially right at the beginning of the level. Immediately after hitting the first jump you will notice it below you. Time an air stomp down to the track below to collect this one.

Film Roll 1/1

After a few drifts you will hit another jump that will launch you to a section with 2 tracks almost side by side. You want to keep to the right hand side once you land. There will be a second jump right after this. If you aren’t on the right hand side yet by the second jump make sure to dash over while in the air. The film roll is on the right hand track after the second jump.

Spray Can 2/4

A little bit after the film roll you will head through a section where you will get a prompt to honk your horn to scare some pigeons at the temple for a Dare. Just after that you will hit a pretty big jump and you will see the spray can below on the left hand side. Make sure to switch over to the left track while in the air and pick this can up.

Spray Can 3/4

After the half pipe sections you will hit a large jump and go into what looks like a big building. You will see the green sign ahead to tell you that you want to go forward for the spray can. Jump up before the curve in the track to land on the track that is ahead instead. Follow the track and the can will be on it.

Spray Can 4/4

After another half pipe section you will see another green sign upon landing on the other side. Make sure you stay on the same track you land on and jump over the obstacle at the end but keep going straight. You will land on the other side and a second track will appear to your left. Quickly jump over to the left track as the final spray can will be there waiting.

Trick Terminal

This is a bit of a weird one because of how things are setup and the tracking within the level seems to be weird. It’s an open level and you will likely be on the same section of the level multiple times. Because of this it is quite hard to explain this so we will have to use landmarks on the map instead of the previous linear levels.

You are also limited to just 2 minutes of track time and need to spend at least 40 seconds of that building up your trick gauge to trigger the special tracks. By far the worst level so far for the collectibles. Long story short you are going to need multiple runs at this one, with or without a guide.

Spray Can 1/4 (fourth can listed in the pause menu)

The first can you collect is actually the fourth can of the level based on the menu, weird. From the beginning simply stay on the track you are on. After the second jump you will have to move to the right one to stay on the correct line. The can is at the top of the next jump.

Spray Can 2/4 (third on the pause menu)

This one is after a couple half pipes. You will hit a jump and grind on the wing of a green plane. After that you will hit another jump. On this track will be the spray can at the top of the next jump.

Film Roll 1/1

The film roll is only possible to collect if you do enough tricks to trigger the special tracks. Once you do you want to head to the right from the starting position. These special tracks will lead you along an area where you will hit a big jump and eventually to the film roll.

Apologies that this is a terrible explanation but its a nightmare trying to explain this one since its an extra track added on.

Spray Can 3/4 (first can on pause menu)

You will need the special tracks for this one as well. Once you’ve triggered them head back to the beginning section. Make sure to go to the right here and stick to the main tracks every chance you get for a little bit. You will eventually get to a section where you will see the green sign pointing and a new special track. Jump onto it and hit the half pipe. On this section is the spray can. Again hard to explain this one.

Spray Can 4/4 (second can on pause menu)

With the special tracks activated head to the starting section again and go over the first couple of jumps straight ahead towards where we picked up the first spray can here. Now new tracks will appear with the special activated, make sure to stay to the right and jump on the special track to the far right. Keep on these special tracks and you will hit a half pipe jump and eventually the spray can.

That’s this level done. What a nightmare. Hopefully this is a rare level for collectibles and doesn’t become the norm!

Already collected here but it’s just below the train in image

Fashion Overdrive

Spray Can 1/2

As soon as you begin the level stay to the far left track. You will hit a jump on it and then you want to quickly dash over to the higher up left most track. The spray can is on this track. If you miss it on the first go around you can likely collect it on a second attempt as the track loops until you get the special tracks.

Spray Can 2/2

This one is pretty hard to miss and you collect during the boss battle. The boss battle is pretty on rails and you will eventually see this spray can after hurting the boss twice.

Film Roll 1/1

This is found during the last section of the boss. You will be doing a lot of jumping from floating platform to platform. During one of the sections you will get multiple tracks and things to dodge. The film is on one of these tracks near a section to dodge.

And that is the end of chapter 1. Make sure you head back to the film level, Kyushu Fanzine HQ as you will want to unlock everything in the book here to unlock an achievement and work towards one of the bigger ones in Fandom reality.

Thankfully chapter 2 is much shorter. We hope this guide was helpful despite how tricky it was at times, and we hope to see you in chapter 2!
