The hotly anticipated indie game Denshattack! is here. The game released July 15th and it is as fun as it looks. IF you are like us you are on the hunt for collectibles and achievements. Well you’ve come to the right place. This guide will help you unlock the “Time To Relax” achievement for experiencing an Onsen.
First of all, what exactly in an Onsen? In Denshattack these are small optional levels that are all about learning some backstory to the game. There is no riding the rails in these levels, just a scene with dialogue options. They are a nice way learn more about the game and its characters.
In order to see these optional Onsen levels however, you first need to unlock them. You unlock them by finding secret exits within certain levels in the game. There are multiple throughout the game and you will need to unlock and play them all to unlock the “Sento Master” achievement. For now though lets just get Time To Relax out of the way!
Play 1-6-1 8 Million Roads
The first step to unlocking this achievement is to play the 8 Million Roads level near the end of chapter 1. At the very end of this level you will get a warning that the track is about to split just before you crash into the scores at the end.
Instead of going straight and finishing the level you are instead going to want to use the left stick to ensure you follow the track that goes off to the left instead.
This is actually a secret exit for the level and from here you simply follow the track and jump into to scores like you normally would. Finding this exit will also unlock one of this levels Dares which is a nice bonus.
Play The 1-6-0 Takeo Onsen Level
Now that you have found the secret exit if you head back to the main map a new area will have opened up called 1-6-0 Takeo Onsen. As mentioned in the intro this is just a dialogue section of the game and the achievement will unlock as soon as you get into the mini level.
And that’s all there is to the Time To Relax achievement. I had missed these for awhile and wasn’t quite sure what the Onsen levels are so hopefully this guide has helped you and saved you some frustration.
