Sometimes, the rumors that will add up to the final quest aren’t always as straightforward as others. While the game will nudge you in the correct direction, here is the guide on how to build all the quests that come along the way. Each quest will be listed with its corresponding rumors underneath. Be warned, these may have story spoilers.
The Boogeyman Stole My Socks

- A child is afraid of the mysterious monster allegedly hiding under his bed. What could be more bothersome- a thousand feet or loud snores?
- The citizens of Zenyth are being plagued by a strange series of thefts. Hold on to your buttons and your honey, and check in on your scared kids.
- Zenyth’s streets recently got a fresh, vibrant paint job. There might be some elusive creature behind it, like a leprechaun or a carbuncle.
Another One Haunts the Dust

- New archaeological finds in the Sayae Plains are apparently inspiring enough for an impromptu exhibition and “shapeful” architecture.
- A dangerous creature is haunting the Sayae Plains. A ghost, a piranha, a Guardian, or all of the above?
- Could Yathama Galanis’s tomb really have just been uncovered? What grave goods did Tuat’s most loyal champion depart with?
Stake and Bake

- A vampire lives in a castle inside a volcano with impossible architecture held together by ancient magic.
- Villagers near the Burning Peaks vampire castle are being plagued by increasing monster attacks. Some fear they’ve incurred the vampire’s wrath.
- A visiting lava leech collector fears the Burning Peaks might quite literally live up to their name soon and burn Siltwick to the ground.
- The vampire of the Burning Peaks dabbles in necromancy and terror. Has the village’s barrier fizzled out? Approach with extreme caution.
Rocky Horror Mistery Show

- Potion shipments (and the ships carrying them) have been getting lost in the Gulf of Fog. The region grows more treacherous by the day.
- A team of geologists has gone missing. Originally heading to the Boreas, are they now stranded in the Gulf of Fog with no rescue in sight?
- The Gulf of Fog harbors great danger and mystery, like foggy, rocky shorelines and sea monsters that double as improvised water slides.
- Kya found a message in a bottle, but the contents were unreadable. It may have been sent by someone near the Copper Archipelago.
Lunar Tears

- A strange fog put us to sleep after invading the tavern. Who else could it have affected? And why did it mess with my interior design?
- Could the mysterious fog be infecting our dreams and turning our nightmares into reality? How do we communicate this for the weather report?
- Hidden somewhere in Pheosa, the Moon Pools reflect all seven moons at once, inspiring explorers to get into fine arts and thievery.
- Multiple people report feeling watched by an ominous silhouette in their dreams. Common fear or common threat?
- The vampire was researching the Dream Planes. Now caught in a deep slumber, what are his true ambitions? And where has he gone?
- With the help of the fog, the vampire may be walking into people’s dreams. What is he after-spreading a sense of dread, or something else?
- If anyone knows if the Moon Swamp is hiding mythical pools, its the local flora and fungi. What’ll it take to persuade them into a private tour?
- Could the mysterious reflections of the Moon Pools be the dreamy anchor that would catapult any Dreamwalker’s abilities to the next level?
The Never-Ending Nightmare

- Aegeus’s phantasm heritage gives him a strange mastery of dreams. He can pull your lost childhood toy right out of your recurring nightmares. Cool!
- Kerebosia opened a portal to the Dreaming- a place even nightmares are terrified of. It showed my friends horrors and is filling me with panic.
- Kerebosia’s ritual, powered by her pain over her missing sister and a necklace, is cracking reality open, freeing monsters I dare not imagine.
- Among the vampire’s documents, writing in foreign handwriting was discovered: did someone ask the vampire for his questionable services?
- Zarah left Mariyam with survivor’s guilt and a necklace enchanted with mysterious magic. Maybe the right priest can help with at least one of those.
Trance Formation

- Una’s party has a knack for teleportation, gaget-y spells, and a rate connection to the Ethereal Weave. That and a tiny menace from Zenyth.
- Borkam’s sleepiest citizens have fallen into a trance and are marching towards Morea, where a dangerous ritual and monsters await them.
- The people of Morea, Kerebosia’s parents included, seem to have succumbed to the maihda’s necromancy. Now it’s their dream to attack people.
- Zenyth manifests tiny critters with six arms, strange outfits, and uncertain origins. At least they remember how to pain and hypnotize.
- Borham’s (possibly) aquatic defense system is back in action! Now with higher walls, fewer creatures, and more budget than ever.
Throwaway Notes
These notes have nothing to do with any quests and will just fill up your pile:
- A necromancer seems to be hiding in Borkham. Are they being obscured by the fog or did they create it themselves? And are they a painter?
- According to a wizard, the Plains conceal the tomb of a champion of Ur, as well as their favorite clocks or puzzles. Careful, they may blow up!
- With the latest nautical technology, the navy is able to explore the ocean’s depths all the way to adventurers on Boreas.
- Somewhere, in Zenyth, or the Plains, or both, a ritual that backfired caused a crack in the Dreaming (maybe?). Will duct tape help?
- After getting into the vampire’s dreams and waking him up, a magic ritual will prevent him from walking into other people’s dreams ever again.
- A portal to the Dream Planes just opened on Morea? We have between five seconds and a day to do something before it consumes us all.
- Ranger-tamed gigantic lugworms fiercely defend Borham from danger? But be careful, they might be part of the danger themselves.
