After the launch of official Final Fantasy X 25th Anniversary website and initial merchandise range were announced last month, we have our first new reveal celebrating the beloved JRPG’s milestone. Fans can look forward to listening to many of FFX’s iconic tracks reimagined as House music for Final Fantasy X – House Grooves, releasing on July 22nd, 2026, with preorders open today.
The second installment in the Final Fantasy x House Grooves series, following the release of the FFIX House Grooves album in March, Final Fantasy X – House Grooves will feature 12 tracks from the game’s soundtrack, including “To Zanarkand”, “Seymour Battle”, and “A Dream That Will One Day End”.
Some of the participating artists have also been revealed, with the likes of Lonely Boy, Kai Saruwatari, JT Donaldson, Andreas Saag, and Ai Kakihira bringing their musical prowess to the project.

The album will be printed on one CD and costs ¥3,300, with those who purchase Final Fantasy X – House Grooves from Amazon.co.jp receiving a Mega Jacket on a first-come, first-served basis. While Final Fantasy X may not have the added buzz of a heavily rumoured remake like Final Fantasy IX did, we imagine that there will be lots of excitement, and more announcements, over the course of 2026. And with the official 25th anniversary date of July 19th 2026 fast approaching, we expect the frequency of these reveals and merch drops to increase.
