Square Enix has been known to launch a website or two for commemorative merchandise over the years. Last year, we got constant new merch over on the Final Fantasy IX 25th anniversary website. Today, the company has launched a new website for the celebration of Final Fantasy X’s 25th anniversary.
The new website already features a ton of cool items for Final Fantasy X fans. There are art books, plushes, a couple of vinyl albums and much more. Square says on the website that this is just the beginning of the items, and more will be announced as we move towards the 25th anniversary, which is July 19th.
Final Fantasy X was originally released on July 19th 2001, on the PlayStation 2. It was the first-ever Final Fantasy title to include a fully voiced cast. The game follows Tidus, a professional athlete of the Zanarkand Abes Blitzball team. During one of the team’s matches, Zanarkand is attacked by a monster known as the Sin, and Tidus is transported 1,000 years into the future. Here, Tidus meets a summoner named Yuna who is on an adventure across the land to defeat Sin.
The highlights so far of the commemorative merchandise would be the Eternal Spira visual art book and the Eternal Calm vinyl LP. The art book includes newly drawn illustrations by Tetsuya Nomura created for the Kabuki adaptation, along with additional artwork of Tidus and Yuna.
There will be more announcements in the coming days and months, including a pop-up store in Japan. For now you can see all the items announced below.

If the FFX 25th anniversary is anything like the Final Fantasy IX one last year, we’ll see a lot more merch and even events announced in the future. However, this time, it won’t have the lingering spectre of a much rumoured remake to add to the proceedings.
