At today’s Summer Games Fest we finally got a surprise announcement for the gorgeous black and white indie FPS, MOUSE P.I. For Hire.
Famed video game voice actor, Troy Baker will be the voice of the game’s protagonist, Jack Pepper.
We still don’t have a release date for MOUSE P.I. For Hire, the game will launch on all platforms _ Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 + 5 and PC – in 2025. Last year we previewed the game on Gamer Social Club calling it “the shooter you didn’t know you needed in life”.

Alongside the new voice actor announcement, a new trailer debuted at Summer Games Fest.
In the new trailer we get to see new footage from the monochromatic hand drawn FPS, with Baker’s character P.I., Jack Pepper seeking out even more bad guys.
The game draws heavily on cartoons from the 1930’s era with Steamboat Willie-style characters. As well as a nod to Popeye with a buff to melee combat via the consumption of ‘Spike-D Spinach’.
Whilst the clue is in the game’s title, our hero Jack will also embark on investigative operations to uncover a numerous number of black and white villains.
