Day of the Devs Summer Game Fest 2025: Everything Announced

The Day of the Devs Summer Game Fest 2025 showcase has just wrapped and there was a whole load of new things to feast your eyes on.

Taking place straight after Summer Game Fest, this showcase, hosted by Double Fine Productions (Psychonauts) and iam8bit, showcases a treasure trove of indie games.

We’ve included all available trailers and all confirmed platforms for the games shown. If more get announced we’ll do our best to update.


Day of the Devs Summer Game Fest 2025

Snap & Grab (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)

Do crimes using only your camera and your crew! In Snap & Grab, explore a puzzle adventure world where any photo you take could be the key to cool crime success. Travel to exotic locations, photograph treasures and reveal threats, then combine your photos in unique ways to create a rad heist plan.

It aims to release in 2026.

Big Walk

Hang out and get lost with close friends in a big world. A cooperative online walker-talker from the creators of Untitled Goose Game.

Set out with your friends through a wide-open world full of challenges, puzzles, and discoveries. You’ll need to work together to find your way around, stay in contact using an assortment of tools and toys, and figure out new ways to communicate when you suddenly find yourself speechless.

Adventuring aside, there’s plenty of time to just hang out. Sit and watch the sunset, or steal your friend’s binoculars and kick them into the ocean. Spending time with friends is the best part of a big walk.

It’s aiming to release in 2026.

Sword of the Sea (PC, PS5)

From the visionary artist behind ABZÛ, The Pathless, and Journey _ Sword of the Sea is an atmospheric surfing adventure with highspeed Hoversword movement inspired by skateboarding and snowboarding.

It releases on 19 August 2025.

Escape Academy 2 (PC)

Class is (back) in session with Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School! Explore an all-new campus, escape life-threatening puzzle rooms, and unravel a conspiracy as old as the school itself – all before the bell rings. Play solo or grab a friend and start solving in online or local co-op.

Mixtape (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)

On their last night together, three friends embark on one final adventure. Play through a mixtape of memories, set to the soundtrack of a generation.

En route to their final party together, a perfectly curated playlist draws three friends into dreamlike reenactments of their formative memories. Experience a variety of narrative vignettes exploring the pivotal moments that shaped them. Players will immerse themselves in the teenage wasteland by playing through a mixtape of joyful gameplay, from skateboarding and flying to taking photos after hours at an abandoned theme park, hitting baseballs, and putting on a fireworks show from the backseat of a car. It’s the greatest hits of the teenage experience, from the first kiss to the last dance.

Blighted (PC)

Battle your way through a psychedelic western nightmare to reclaim the memories of your people in Blighted, an action RPG from the creators of Guacamelee! and Nobody Saves the World. Harness the power of the deadly, reality-altering Blight and unravel the mysteries of a twisted world.

Dosa Divas (PC)

Dosa Divas – a spicy narrative turn-based RPG. After years apart, sisters Samara and Amani journey with their ancient spirit-mech on a mission to defeat a rotten fast food empire and reconnect communities with their traditions. Platform through vibrant villages, battle corporate goons, reconcile with loved ones, and eat one last meal together before saying goodbye.

It’s aiming to release in 2026.

Possessor(s) (PC, PS5)

Once an absent-minded teaching professor and Luca’s former instructor on campus, Professor Foss is now in the clutches of the Knowledge Demon. In pursuit of ever more information, the demon has grotesquely twisted and torn apart his body. Yet, the Professor appears entirely unaware of the transformation-he remains cheerful and content, seemingly oblivious to his condition and eager to converse with Luca.

In Possessor(s) you will play as Luca, a high-schooler trapped in the ruins of Sanzu City. Professor Foss was one of her teachers. What is the mysterious research being performed in the basement laboratories of Luca’s old school, and what will Luca and her demon, Rhem, discover when they go to investigate?

Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)

Live the double life of a fearless adventurer and a crafty merchant! Dive into vibrant dimensions brimming with shiny loot and pesky enemies. Grow your shop, tinker with weapons and gadgets, as well as make your mark among a ragtag community of castaways.

It’s aiming to release this summer.

Please, Watch The Artwork is a casual yet suspenseful experience where you spot changes in living paintings during your night shift at the MaMA – the Museum of Animated Modern Art. Watch, listen and report any anomalies. Weird. Relaxing. Melancholic. Gaslight simulator. No jump scares or monsters chasing you, but the game can feel oppressive. Inspired by Edward Hopper.

Marvel Cosmic Invasion (PC, PS4, PS5, Switch Xbox Series)

After Annihilus has launched an unprecedented attack across the galaxy, all life hangs in the balance… To face this threat, She-Hulk forgoes litigation and takes matters into her own hands; get ready to grapple and toss enemies around with her gamma-powered might! And if you’re more into firepower, blast your way through a barrage of bugs with Rocket Raccoon and his hard-hitting futuristic arsenal! Neverway (PC)

After quitting her dead-end job, Fiona starts over on a farm and becomes the immortal herald of a dead god. Make friends, fight through horrors and pay your debt in this nightmarish life sim RPG.

Relooted (PC, Xbox Series)

Reclaim real African artifacts from Western museums in this Africanfuturist heist game. Recruit crew members, plan escape routes, acquire the precious cargo, and bounce out of the joint as fast as you can.

Ratatan (PC)

Ratatan is a rhythm roguelike action game that combines rhythm games and side-scrolling action, with online co-op gameplay supporting up to 4 players. An intense battle unfolds with over 100 characters fighting in a massive melee. Let’s defeat the enemies together!

Early access begins on 25 July 2025. A demo is available now!

Thick as Thieves (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)

A PvPvE multiplayer stealth game set in a 1910s metropolis filled with magic and intrigue. Hide, sneak, and steal your way through the ranks as you match your cunning against rival thieves in an immersive living world of stories and shadows."¯A new take on stealth from Warren Spector.

Consume Me (PC)

did you feel stupid, fat, lazy, and ugly in high school? well i did…but at least i made a life-simulation RPG about it!

Off (PC, Switch)

“I’m the Batter. I’ve been entrusted with a sacred mission.” — One of the most influential RPGs of the last 20 years is finally coming to Steam. Take control of the Batter as he seeks to purify an uncanny and hopeless world haunted by specters, guided by a cryptic, grinning cat called The Judge.

It’s releasing on 15 August 2025.

Tire Boy (PC)

Tire Boy is a fast, playful action-adventure platformer about a tire person. Leap, roll & battle your way through a lush, unfamiliar world and uncover your mysterious origins.

Toem 2 (PC)

Step back into the shoes of a curious photographer and set off on a brand new adventure all about uncovering hidden details, helping friends along the way, and documenting the world’s little wonders in TOEM 2, the sequel to the acclaimed TOEM.
