This guide will tell you how to unlock the ‘Pancake’ achievement on Xbox and Steam in to a T for petting the dog.
The earliest I was able to unlock this achievement is the start of episode 2, until this point I was unable to enable the game to get the to provide the button command opportunity.
How to unlock the achievement
When you start episode 2, you will start by getting dressed upstairs. There is the opportunity to unlock two other miscellaneous achievements at this time _ BBQ and Candy – see the footer of this for links to our guides.
After getting dressed, head downstairs and you will have a short conversation with your mom.
After speaking to your mom (you can skip the cutscene if you wish), don’t move. Standing in the exact spot the cutscene finishes at the bottom of the stairs, don’t press anything until the pet prompt appears at the bottom of the screen.
Once you’ve given your adorable pooch a pet, your ‘Pancake’ achievement will unlock and your dog loves you even more. Congratulations!
